Cashmere Shawl Thakali Pom

A finely hand woven cashmere shawl featuring a crochet edge with pom poms. This piece is made with hand spun cashmere yarn.  It has an incredible soft yet strong texture. These are one of a kind, artisanal shawls that will endure for decades.

Traditionally Thakali scarves and shawls were made by hand in a family or community for both special occasions. Often mother's would weave one for their daughters for their wedding.  They were made to endure and be passed down. We work with traditional weavers and a local atelier in Nepal who carry on this special heritage tradition.
